2017 Asian Rowing Championships in Pattaya, Thailand

From 4th to 8th September, 2017, the 2017 Asian Rowing Championships was successfully held at Pattaya, Thailand. As 325 athletes and 82 officials from 22 National Federations participated in this year Asian Rowing Championships, the total number of 407 participants is the highest number in Asian rowing history.

Para-rowing Athletes in 2017 ARC

During the 4-day Championships, athletes from all over Asia competed in 22 events.After the final race, China won 6 gold medals, Iran won 5, Indonesia, Korea and Thailand won 2 respectively, while Hong Kong China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam won 1.

With the nice arrangement of the OC, all the participants were invited to experience a most impressive Opening Ceremony before the races starting. On the Opening Ceremony, artists from Thailand gave wonderful performances and the all the attendees were welcomed in a cordial, friendly and warm atmosphere.
