2024 Asian Rowing Championships Successfully Conclude in Samarkand, Uzbekistan

The 2024 Asian Rowing Championships (ARCH) took place from October 10 to 13, 2024, at the beautiful Rowing Canal in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. A total of 13 ARF Member Federations participated (CHN, HKG, IRI, IRQ, JPN, KAZ, KSA, KUW, SGP, THA, TPE, UZB, and VIE), with 95 entries across various categories, showcasing intense competition and top-class performances.

Teams from across Asia competed in a wide range of events, with Uzbekistan and China dominating the podium in several categories. Uzbekistan, as the host nation, performed exceptionally well, securing multiple gold medals, while China also demonstrated its strength with impressive results across both men’s and women’s events.

The Championships concluded with a display of remarkable teamwork, skill, and determination, solidifying the athletes’ positions as top competitors in Asian rowing. Congratulations to all participants, and a special thanks to the Organizing Committee in Samarkand for delivering a well-run and memorable event.
