Shunyi district is located in the northeast of Beijing, 20 miles to CBD, with a total area of 1021 km² and the registered population of 983,000. Shunyi has 19 towns and 6 sub-district offices. According to Beijing Key New Towns Construction Implementation Plan of 12th Five-Year, Shunyi new town is the important node of eastern development area of Beijing, and is one of the three key new towns of the city. The town is the core area of Capital International Aviation Center, the Air Economy Industry center and the base of modern manufacturing that serve the nation and face to the world. In 12th Five-Year, Shunyi will be build up as a modern comprehensive new town with core area eradiating and driving function based on the northeast of Beijing.
