Teams are strongly advised to study the racing format for Beach Sprint competition where Quarter Final, Semi Final and Final races in each event are run back-to-back within a short time frame (~1 hour). Teams are therefore strongly advised to consider carefully before making double entries. No changes to the timetables will be made to accommodate crews doubling up. No athlete should be entered in more than 2 events.
Preliminary Entries by number are due by 15th March 2023 and Final Entries by name are due by 1st April 2023 and must include the events to be entered, the total number of athletes in the team, and the number of officials accompanying the team.
The completed Final Entry must include all necessary information for each crew, including passport copy, name with date of birth of each athlete, all team members and substitutes and officials.
Entry Forms are attached to this Bulletin. These should be filled in and forwarded to the Organizing Committee, with a copy to ARF headquarters, by the stipulated date.
The past average weather conditions in Ban Chang are as follows:
5.1: All teams must use the standard pool of boats provided by the OC on a shared basis. Teams may not 5.2 use their own boats.
5.2: All boats will be set to a “Standard Rig” according to the rules of Beach Sprint. Only the foot stretchers may be adjusted by teams prior to racing.
5.4: All boats and other equipment will be provided by OC and official boat supplier, Swift Racing.
Each team is highly recommended to bring their own sculls as the blades of all oars/sculls must be painted on both sides in the colors of the respective Federations. If you need to rent oars, the rate is $100/pair of sculls for the duration of the event.
