The 2023 Asian Rowing Masters Coastal Regatta drew its curtains in the West Coast New District of Qingdao, China from November 11th to 12th.

Welcoming 30 teams from countries and regions including China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong China, Indonesia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, the UAE, Vietnam (in alphabetical order), this Regatta witnessed over 200 athletes paddling through the waves of Tangdaowan Park and the crowning of champions across 4 categories and 23 events.

“Rowing is a sport of passion and charm. The 2023 Asian Rowing Masters Coastal Regatta not only provided a stage for the competition but also served as a platform for athletes, coaches, and rowing enthusiasts to interact and exchange ideas,” said Chen Chunxin, President of the Asian Rowing Federation. “We hope that through this opportunity, we can further propel the prevalence of rowing in the Asian region, attracting more sports enthusiasts to participate, allowing rowers from across Asia to contribute to the flourishing of the rowing worldwide.”

The successful conclusion of this competition not only signifies the end of a thrilling competition but also marks the beginning of a new chapter in the expansion and enrichment of coastal rowing in the Asia.
