2023 ARF Congress rescheduled
The 2023 Asian Rowing Federation Congress will be rescheduled on Sunday, 24 September 2023 15:00-18:00 Beijing Time. This adjustment shifts the Congress to a date one day later than the originally planned session in Hangzhou, China. Member Federations shall provide the ARF office with the names of your delegates attending the Congress by completing and submitting the Attendance Form before 30 June 2023.
2024-2026 ARF regattas opening for bid
2024 to 2026 Asian Rowing Regatta applications are open. National Federations are encouraged to apply to bid for the following regattas:
- Asian Rowing Championships
- Asian Rowing Junior Championships
- Asian Rowing Cup1
- Asian Rowing Cup2
- Asian Rowing Coastal Championships
- Asian Rowing Beach Sprint Finals
- Asian Rowing Indoor Championships
- Asian Rowing Masters Regatta
In order to bolster the prominence of rowing in Asia and foster its wider appeal, all NFs are strongly encouraged to host regattas. Please submit your bid for hosting a regatta to the ARF office at office@arfrowing.com. Should you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to reach out to the ARF office using the aforementioned email address.
2023 Asian Rowing Junior Championships
2023 Asian Rowing Junior and U23 Championships will be held at Samarkand, Uzbekistan on 12 – 15 October 2023. The deadline for submitting the “Preliminary Entry Form” is on 25th July 2023 and the deadline for the “Final Entry” is on 25th August 2023.
2023 Asian Para Games’ Rowing Event
It is informed that the 2023 Asian Para Games’ Rowing Event will be held from Thursday, October 26 to Saturday, October 28th, 2023 in Hangzhou, China.
Possible Asian Rowing Coastal Master Regatta
ARF is discussing hosting an Asian Rowing Coastal Master Regatta in Qingdao, China this October, once decided ARF will provide detailed information.
President and Secretary General of ARF members’ information update
Member Federations are requested to review the attached form containing the information of the President and Secretary General of ARF members, if there are any updates or changes, please provide your feedback to the ARF office at office@arfrowing.com.
Individual proposals collection for 2023 ARF Congress
According to ARF Statutes & Rule By-Laws, National Federations are welcome to send individual proposals to ARF Congress. The deadline for collecting proposals is July 24th, 2023.
